Terms & Conditions
Terms governing participation, online seva bookings, sankalpam, and contributions for Srikari Ati Rudra Mahayagnam.
1. Preamble & Sacred Purpose
These Terms and Conditions constitute a binding agreement between you (the "Devotee", "User", or "Donor") and Srikari Seva Samiti ("the Samiti", "we", "our"). The Srikari Ati Rudra Mahayagnam is a sacred 28-day spiritual endeavor dedicated to universal harmony (Lokakalyanam) held at Srikari Peetam, Hyderabad. By accessing this website, registering for an account, booking sevas, or making donations, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.
2. Seva Bookings & Sacred Sankalpam
Nature of Rituals: Sevas, Rudra Homams, Nakshatra Shanthi, and Annadanam are consecrated spiritual offerings conducted in accordance with ancient Vedic traditions under the guidance of qualified Vedic Ritwiks.
Accuracy of Devotee Details: Devotees are solely responsible for ensuring that the names, Gotram, Janma Nakshatra, and address provided in the booking forms are accurate. Priests rely on these details for the sacred Sankalpam recitations.
Physical Presence & Remote Booking: Remote devotees who are unable to attend the yagasala physically will have their Sankalpam pronounced on their chosen day. Sanctified Prasadam will be dispatched through postal/courier channels to the designated address within India where eligible.
3. Charitable Donations & 80G Receipts
Voluntary Offerings: All contributions made toward the Mahayagnam, Annadanam (daily mass feeding of devotees), or Temple activities are strictly voluntary religious and charitable donations.
Tax Exemption (80G): Where applicable under the Income Tax Act, 1961, tax exemption receipts are issued only upon provision of a valid Indian PAN (Permanent Account Number) and address during the donation checkout. Once filed with the tax authorities, donations cannot be reversed or altered.
4. Yagasala Etiquette & Code of Conduct
Devotees visiting the sacred grounds of Srikari Peetam must adhere to the traditional sanctity of the Mahayagnam:
- Wear modest, traditional Indian attire (Dhoti/Kurta for men; Saree/Salwar for women).
- Strictly maintain silence and reverence inside the Yagasala during active Vedic chanting.
- Consuming non-vegetarian food, alcohol, tobacco, or smoking is strictly prohibited on the entire premises.
- Security and volunteer instructions must be respected at all times for the safety and welfare of all devotees.
5. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure
Srikari Seva Samiti strives to maintain scheduled programs and live streaming without interruption. However, the Samiti shall not be held liable for any delays, alterations in ritual schedules, internet streaming outages, or postal courier delays resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control (including natural calamities, severe weather, governmental directives, power grid failures, or technical telecommunication breakdowns).
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these terms, seva bookings, or donations shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
